Contour Tutorial

in Beauty, February 3, 2018

Contouring is definitely a novelty that I don’t make time for on an every day basis. Most of my days right now are filled with running my kids around and trying to fulfill my duties as a mom and wife! However, I try to make time for myself at least once a week to do more than tinted moisturizer and mascara. I call that a “moms day out”. This weekend, my sister and I are taking our girls to The Gaylord Texan for a sleepover girls night birthday celebration for my daughter! I am so excited (and a bit emotional) that she is already old enough to enjoy fun things like that! I will probably not have time for full makeup, so I did squeeze in a quick lunch this week that gave me an opportunity to contour and film this tutorial. Life is all about balance! I LOVE doing my makeup so I go out of my way to be sure I get that opportunity at least once a week. Don’t forget to take time for yourself every once in a while!

For those of you who also love to spend time on your own makeup, you may find my tutorial interesting! I’ve done my research and found the best contour, bronzer and highlighter on the market for fair to medium skin tones. It is quick, easy to apply, easy to blend and most importantly looks very natural!

I like to use the Pro Detail Brush from Sephora for my contour and bronzer but if you’re looking for something less expensive I also recommend this set of Real Technique contour/foundation brushes from Amazon for only $8!!!! I have created a detailed tutorial on how I like to contour my skin! Have a look below and comment with any questions! Please subscribe to my website for new post updates!
